A good deed comes full circle.....

My daughter and I both believe in random acts of kindness and in doing good deeds if we possibly can manage them. She will help when she's in need of help herself because she believes that we should care about one another. God, I'm proud of her.

Anyway, a good deed has come full circle in our little family.

She took her son to the dentist to see about his broken tooth. The dentist has been treating her and her family for several years now and knows her situation. Well, are you all sitting down because you're not going to believe this one! But this is the truth. He fixed that front tooth....thank goodness there was no nerve damage. It had to be capped. My grandson's smile is as good as new now and you could never tell that anything was ever wrong. The price? Well....an unbelievable $100 out the door.

May this good man (the dentist) be forever blessed for his kindness and compassion. He knows their situation and gave them a deal of a lifetime. A beautiful smile on a young man....priceless.
Prayers answered and an act of kindness comes full circle....unforgettable.

What an amazing act of kindness. That guy deserves an award, but types like that normally don't want people talking about them.

Very Cool!

Aw that's awesome. It's nice when doctors remember why they went into medicine in the first place and do something just for the sake of helping others. :)

The dentist deserves a special star in his crown. He is truly a wonderful person. I agree with Soul, his goodness will come back to him ten fold.

That's so great! Now, I hope your grandson stays away from people who hit him in the mouth.

Hi sweet lady - I'm on vacation and taking a bit of a break from blogging while my mom is visiting, but she's getting dressed right now, so I'm sneaking some blog time.

What a perfect post to come by and see too - you know how I love hearing about RAK. What a great man to fix your grandson's tooth for so little money. May something truly wonderful happen to him in return.

PS - I saw on t.v. that Tostitos scoop chips is having a recipe contest for dips - you should tell your friend to enter her Texas Caviar! I'm going to make some of that this week. :)

Big hugs -
fiwa

Thank you for reading my blog leaving such a kind comment!
Such a nice thing for the dentist to do. I wonder is he's related to my dentist. :-) I love my dentist and I could see him doing that too.

I wish that more doctors were like that. It has always seemed to me that in most ways, the biggest, best deeds are usually done by those who have the least.

I am so glad that you found this guy.

Wow! I should have read this posting before the "I'm slowly going insane...." one. I am happy to hear that no one sued anyone. Good for the dentist! Older n Dirt

Thank you so much for sharing this story. It always fills my heart to read about people who do the right thing just because they can.

Off topic, this is the first time I've noticed your virtual kitty. I played with it a little bit, and Butch, my blind dog, climbed off the sofa and walked over here to stand beside me and bark at Maukie. Too funny!

It's not easy moving to a new blog, but, that's what I'm doing.
The 'Grabbing the Bull' blog is going to be a political thing until November, and then I'm shutting it down.

It's hard to do because i have to move all the addresses to the new blog one at a time, so, here's the deal.

If you don't agree with the political stand I'm making and don't want your name attached to it, c'mon by and tell me and I'll give it priority treatment.
(if you don't mind being there, or even want to contribute, tell me that, too, and I'll leave it for the duration.

In any case, the new address is at the top of the sidebar.

Stories like that restore what is sometimes my greatly diminishing faith in humanity. Thank you so much for sharing!

Be well, Val.
