They're Trying to Kill Me.....
Oh. My. God. I have two of them. Right now I’m glad I didn’t have more than that. My children, are now fully grown adults…..why can’t they act like it. Their habitual behind-the-back verbal abuse of each other is driving me totally and completely crazy. Each one comes to me tattling and complaining about the other. I want to run away. I feel like I have the only family in the entire world that is so effed up! I’m in the middle of it all and I can’t seem to find anywhere to hide. Right now I’d like to change my name and appearance and leave the state. I can’t believe these two belong to me.
For the first time in my life I absolutely understand why retirees move into a retirement village 3900 miles away from their families, giving the excuse of a better climate. HA They want some PEACE.
Move over, I’m drivin’….lets get on down the highway.

ha ha munk...the pic...yeah? kids trying to kill their parents...now you see why we have only ONE??? so she can nag directly at us and not about her non-existent sibling! ha ha ha...have a good one.
My two argue like cats and dogs but at the moment they have the excuse that they are only kids. I HOPE it changes when they get to be adults or I'll be taking a fast train to anywhere to get away from them.
Tell them both you refuse to listen to their gripes about each other anymore and make it strictly TABOO. That'll work won't it? Yeah right.....
Not only a retirement village that doesn't allow residents to house visitors longer than a few days, and not only located on the border of Nevada and Timbuktu miles away from a major airport, make sure your house doesn't have a guest room either.
Not that any one in my family has ever done this...
It's not just your family. Trust me. I'm living in the middle of one. But I got lucky and made myself the black sheep. So for the most part they leave me alone. ;)
Having grown kids can be more draining than it was when they were toddlers. Ah if we would have only known....we could have drowned 'em. LOL
Hang in.
Hugs.
you know-- i think it's their job from BIRTH.. colic.. grade, sassy attacks, dating, the ever extended hand.. the list goes on... and the mouth -- it only gets louder and more demanding with age-- and you're right-- i don't think they even turn five, before we begin planning our escape!!!!
:))
you'll survive-- it's a moms talent.
happy thursday-
you're not alone Val. two of my sisters do that too, only it's usually ME they're calling. and yes, moving away does help the situation! :) Loads less drama.
Tell them to stop! Tell them you don't want to be pulled in the middle between them, that you love them both and they need to work out their problems between themselves.
And tell them if they can't behave, you friend fiwa is ready to come kick some booty.
lovins!
fiwa
