I was tagged.....

I’ve been tagged by Mapi to do the following. I’m not going to tag anyone in particular. If you would like to participate, please do so and let me know as I would be interested in reading your answers. As for mine, I’m pretty boring. LOL

The Rules:

Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random, facts, habits or goals about yourself. At the end, choose 6 people to be tagged, list their names & why you tagged them. Don’t forget to leave them a comment saying “You’re it!” & to go read your blog. You cannot tag the person that tagged you, so since you’re not allowed to tag me back; let me know when you are done so I can go read YOUR weird/random/odd facts, habits and goals.

1. I find it calming after putting the clothes in the washer to lean over, head supported by my elbows and just watch them agitate, with the clean smell of the laundry detergent wafting up as I’m watching.

2. The tastiest food on my plate I will save for the last to eat.

3. I love the smell of new books and will sometimes put my face in the book just to breathe it in.

4. To see horses run, their manes and tails flowing, truly makes me cry with emotion. Their beauty is unsurpassed.

5. The sound of a seagull’s cry is so overwhelmingly sad for me I have to leave the area and get away from it.

6. A bouquet of daisies is the best as far as I’m concerned.

7. If you’re my friend and intentionally hurt me, I’ll forgive you once, but not twice.

8. I’ve always wanted some musical talent. I have none at all. I can’t carry a tune even if I had a basket. My mother and grandmother both had beautiful voices and one sang on stage at one time.

9. I believe everything happens for a reason, even though we may never find out what that reason is.

10. I start looking at a magazine from back to front.

Ugh...tagged. Such a nasty term! :)

Thank you for playing, Val--I loved your responses. I enjoy learning these details about those I only have the fortune of meeting online. Some things that are taken for granted in face-to-face encounters never come out in writing--and vice-versa.

By the way, I like the fortune cookie. Mine read: You are more influential than you think.

Hmm... scary thought.

Be well, Val.

I love the smell of new books too, especially textbooks. Something about that new crisp smell and knowing that between the covers it holds great information for me just waiting to be read and learned makes it amazing.

I loved all of your answers to this Val and may even do it myself. Will let you know if I do.

I absolutely love the smell of freshly laundered clothes and sheets. I also thought I was the only one who looked at a magazine from back to front. I'm glad to see I'm not :)

you guessed 6,7, and 9

1 out of 3 aint bad.. somewhere :))

(i may have chosen 7 at one point-- a long time ago-- but these days-- intentionally?.. i don't have time or patience for it. ya know?)

and as for daisys... they are nice.. and i am a pretty plane jane type of gal--as you know :))
but i don't know if they would be a favorite--or "best" for 'me'
actually -- i'm not sure what IS. i don't get, buy or especially plant any flower -- so-- i guess "a rose by any other name---"

:))
i think i need to go to bed!
