Oh my aching......

back!! I've been semi-out of commission for the past six days due to lower back pain. Woo hoo.....it was something else! I woke up with it so I don't know if I slept wrong or what.....but it sure has hurt. I even missed a day of work over it.

You know when you're in pain, you just don't feel like doing anything. Hopefully I will be back to my old self in a couple more days. In the meantime I'm seriously behind in everything. Sigh....oh well, its not like my social agenda is bursting at the seams!

You know the older you get, the longer it takes for you to get over something. I just wish I knew what I did to cause this.....I sure don't want it ever again! Take care, I'll be back in a couple days or so.

I wish I knew what I did to my knee. It was fine till it wasn't. I hope your back gets back to normal soon! It's hard to move when you're in pain.

Sometimes we just need rest..you know?...So, put your feet up, if that feels better, get a hot cup of herbal tea, and then a nap might follow...However it works, please get well...

Well sweetie, we've all been there with those achy backs. I use heat, Aleve (or whatever), and rest when it is really sore. Then when it's better I try to keep it stretched out as much as possible because I sit at this darn computer for so many hours every day. When I pulled a muscle in my back last year I had to go to a physical therapist, and he gave me some stretching exercises to do to keep my lower back and hips more stretched out because I sit so long...I think it has helped. I also need to walk more....OF COURSE. I haven't been good about that for the past few months...I'm hoping to get better; but you know how that goes. Just baBY it for now for sure Val. Backs can be very touchy, and you never know what sets them off either. Good luck sweetie, and I hope you feel better very soon. Love, Joy

Ooh Val, nothing is worse than a hurting back. I'll be sending lots of healing thoughts your way and hope that you are already starting to feel better. Can't we just trade these old bodies in for new ones, that would be an awesome mid-life birthday gift from the Creator, huh? :-)
