Just tell me.....

in the average person's performance of the gift-wrapping ritual, just how many times do you think the effin tape is misplaced or falls on the floor while both hands are otherwise occupied.

I usuall tear off several strips and stick the end on the edge of a table and take one as I need it. That way I don't have to chase the tape dispenser around.

For SIXTY YEARS I played "find the tape". Or "where's the scissor".

WHY? because I wanted to SAVE MONEY. I would reuse the humongous roll of cheap wrapping paper year after year.

THIS year: BOXES! Hey, they're already decorated!! Throw it in. Give it. Toss the box. whew. Cheaper than therapy.

LOL.....Oh Val you crack me up. My pet hate? When you can't find the end of the tape because it's cheap and nasty and you know you should have spent an extra 10 cents on a decent one.

This is why I indulge in gift bags.

oh, well....there's always looking all over for the stuff, and running to the store to buy more.
Only to have someone open your package, and there it is....
HA!

There is a secret magnetism that the floor uses to attract tape dispensers. It's related to the secret magnetism that ensures that bread falls butter-side-down, and that whatever spills out of a glass will not be something easy to mop up, like water.
