Now a senior citizen.....tightly clutching my sense of humor for dear life

Every once in a while.....
a commercial comes on TV that makes me laugh out loud. The following is one of those commercials. I hope it affects you the same way as we all need a good laugh on a regular basis.
I think that I am the only one who didn't laugh at that. I, being ever practical, kept looking at that woman and thinking, "Why the HELL is she dunking her SLEEVES in the water? For godsakes, put a frackin' apron on! And have your PAN ready to catch the thing instead of schlepping it around that kitchen..."
That was one gigantic turkey. I was thinking part of it was stuck down the drain. We do two 12-pounders just so the turkey doesn't get thrown out the window like that.
That is a hoot! I've had my moments of wrestling with those turkeys...and sometimes they almost win. I've always gotten pretty big birds...at least in the past, but I've learned it's just fine to get the smaller ones if there are only three or four of us instead of twelve or fifteen of us now. It's a hard lesson to learn after so many years....plus we love the leftovers. But, it's a lot easier on me.
bwahahah - I wasn't expecting THAT at the end. I'm a big fan of physical comedy.... no words were spoken in that entire commercial... funny. Also confirmed that I'm happy to be a vegetarian and dinner this week will be a nice piece of salmon. :-)
OMG! I have not seen that one, and you are right, it did make me laugh. Thank you!
Hope your family day was great, or at least doable, and that is said from one that has a family much like yours...kids. Can't manage 'em, can't kill 'em.

Anyone and everyone who has ever wrestled with an uncooked turkey can relate to that one...

This one is really funny. I hadn't seen it but while I'm doing the turkey I'll have a smile on my face.
I did the card test and got a different card - Empress - I must have fudged on some of my answers.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Sorry I've been absent. It's not by design just busy and now dealing with asthma for the first time. GROAN!
